Hello, my name is Amy Telschow. I found out that I have a rare lung disease in 2015, and this started a domino effect of issues. I already was diagnosed with Intersistitial Cystitis in 2008, and now the Autoimmune issues are mounting. I also have Immunodeficiency Disorder and am not producing antibodies that help me from getting recurrent infections. My lung function is slowly decreasing and my Asthma is increasing, I also have aquired Narcolepsy and am functioning at a pretty low level. The prednisone that keeps me alive has cost me. I have processing issues, and major emotional side effects. Many treatment options, labs, and medication, either aren't covered by Humana HMO Staff, or are partially covered, leaving a large amount of out of pocket for us. I am unable to work now so the money raised helps me to cotinue to get the care I need.

The toirtoise and the hare is a great story/fable. We live in a world where relaxed means unproductive, and sometimes relaxing is needed, we need to take breaks, to be in the moment, to let ourselves recharge! That is not lazy it is vital to us all.
