Full story

Connor Hedge lives on in our hearts as he inspired so many people of all ages. His bravery and strength of beating cancer since he was diagnosed at 18 months old with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer,  just a month after his sister was born. He gathered his strength from his dedicated and positive parents, family and the prayers of so many people.

With incredible sadness he passed away 6 days before his 6th birthday. His celebration of life was held on his birthday at House Creek Elementary School where he was a kindergartener. His school provided so much support for him and his family as they didn't know a single person in Texas when they moved there in 2015. The staff, Connor's friends and the families there held the Hedge family up and created awesome opportunities to help Connor live life to the fullest, feel loved and special during such a incredibly difficult time.

Connor's Mom and Dad have used money from his memorial fund to create 4 granite benches in the shape of a C to be permanently placed at the school. His parents are planning on getting the benches engraved with Connor's name. They plan on buying a shade cover for the kindergarten playground which doesn't have any shade.

I was washing my CONNORSTRONG t-shirts the other one day and thought I'd love to have a CONNORSTRONG FOREVER shirt to wear in his memory. I thought maybe other people would like to wear this shirt too. He's been a special boy in my life and so many others whether they knew him personally or by his story. The profit from the shirts will go to Connor's Memorial Fund.
