Meet my brother Terry. In 1999 he was diagnosed with Hepititis C. He was given 10 years to live and has out lived that by six years, he is progressively getting worse. In April 2016 he went to his doctor at the VA and was told that they had a cure (100%) for his hepititis C. Terry was the perfect canidate for the treatments as he had not had any prior treatments. He would have to take 6 pills at $1,000 a piece and that should do it! Terry and his wife Jan were elated!! His insurance covered it all. A few days after that wonderful news, Terry received a letter from the VA stating that he and his wife Jan made $300 a year to much to qualify for the treatments to be paid for by the VA. Also, he would have to pay back all the medical bills from June 2014 to the present. Due to Terry's Hepititis C, he is on full disability. He does not have the means to pay for the medical expenses & the pills that will cure his disease.Thank you so much for anything you can donate. Every penny counts!
