Over 450 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens were saved and placed in forever homes as part of the daily operations of the Humane Society of the Upper Valley in 2015. We also were able to provide $35,000 in spay/neuter assistance for over 1950 dogs and cats. We cannot stress the importance of this accomplishment enough considering the pet overpopulation issue that exists in this country. Four million cats and dogs, which is roughly one every eight seconds, are put to sleep in US shelters every year. These amazing accomplishments would not have been possible if it hadn’t been for our loyal supporters and their generous donations combined with our dedicated and wonderful volunteer staff who have devoted countless hours to helping these animals.
