Every since I was 12 years old, I have always been fascinated with missons trips. I have always wanted to go to Ghana, Africa. I grew up always hearing the stories of the people on the Ghana team at my church, and I've always wanted to go.
This year, when I had the opportunity to go, I did not believe I was ready physically, mentally, or emotionally. However, this coming year.. I know I am ready. Over the past couple of months, I have been through a lot, but I have also strengthened my relationship with God.
Each year, I hear the stories and see the pictures of people being changed, turning to God, and I want to be apart of that. I am raising money this year and next to year to be ready. I would also like to use some of the money I raise to buy some gifts and necessities to take over with me if I get the chance to go.
Acts 20:35 says, " It is more blessed to give than to receive". I would like to play a small part in something big. With your help, that would make things possible. Anything would help, whether it is a donation, a prayer, or even a share! Thank you so much for your support!
