38 years ago I met this man I fell totally in love with. We dated a year then married. We raised two sons and buikt a log home with our own hands. My husband went to the office to be in charge of sales for his company who never paid him what he was worth so he started his own business... he is a great salesman and he was doing $23 million for his shops. Well you know how the more some people make the more greedy they become? That happened to us and after the first company quit paying ithers followed suit... we collapsed. Thankfully we had money in the bank we were saving to support a mission but I guess it wasn't to be we lived in that for a while. Our oldest son joined the marine corps and became a Sgt. our youngest went college and was a drug and alcohol counselor then went back to the police academy. 

My husband (Steve) went back to work for his old employer at the age of 54 where he was assured he would get looked at for a raise each year in writing. For three years he brought their failing contract sales back to life giving the machine and fiundry shops work.. this company has a main line of equipment in coal so that was down and they were happy to have the work. But for Steve there was never a raise despite his questions to the owner of the company who was now the 40 something year old son. For us by now we had fallen way behind in bills and we had been hounded by one certain young girl from the IRS. Who was going to take our house. What should we do? So we filed chapter 7 and when Steve was at work one day the sr owner told him he was a disgrace to the company. Two weeks later the son ( jr) owner hired his best friend who started firing people left and right. Coal was coming back they no longer needed the extra work so they fired my husband at the age of 57. And although he's great at his job and knows his stuff, he's on the computer daily sending his resume out and has gotten probably 6 jobs the people are always excited to have him but by the next day or two he no longer has a job! Almost like when they call the hr from the last place she's black balling him. We have nothing but my social security I get because I have MS.

When you file chapter 7 you have to forfeit your house. They're taking the house next Thursday. We have nothing. Just two weeks ago we had our car repossessed until my husbands mother lent us the money to get it back. 

Never in my life did I ever think we would be in this position. We wanted to do good for people at the beginning.. niw the tables have turned and we went from making good money to making none. We have no home to go to with our two senior dogs and our son has no room for us. 

Steve and our son chris want to start a business together in Florida (a discount and service center for motor , mobile and RV homes) 

We need a home even if it's an RV for now and we need to start this business.
