Update on my mom 💜 She has been diagnosed with stage 2 ductil carcinoma breast cancer. As of tomorrow she'll start the long process of chemo and will receive about 21 rounds of that. Afterwards she'll have surgery for a double mastectomy and to remove any cancer that is left behind. Then they will decide if she needs additional radiation. Many of you on here have met my mom Amy Tharp and know she is truly a Saint💜 She is seriously one of the strongest, funniest, women I know and I know she'll not only tackle cancer but beat it too!! So please place her in your prayers and add my dad in there too, he definitely needs the uplifting to help guide her through this battle as well.  💜💜 Had my grandmother not been randomly tested for a genetic disorder (that was confirmed her and my mom both have) then we would never even know mom was sick. That confirmation led to a doctor testing for many other things and it caught the cancer. So please ladies stay up to date on your well women exams especially if breast cancer or ovarian cancer runs in your family! Her genetic disorder is called BRACA2 and makes you 80% more susceptible to having breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, uterine cancer as well as skin cancer. Glad we caught it early enough.
