MEHOP has begun a campaign to help uninsured diabetics receive the necessary at-home medical supplies needed to monitor and care for their condition. Supplies can be costly for those who are on a fixed income and are uninsured. With your help we will be able to assist them in gaining access to necessary supplies which will improve their quality of life and health.

MEHOP is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary health care services to Wharton and Matagorda Counties. Our services include Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, and Family Dental.  We also provide enabling services such as health education, transportation to MEHOP appointments and case management.  Health Centers serve patients regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. MEHOP accepts private/employer-based insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid and offers fee for service discounts based on household size and income.
