Dear Friends and Family,

As some of you may know, my 25th birthday is coming up in April. Instead of celebrating over bottles of booze, I have decided to celebrate over baby bottles! (Just for the record, I am NOT pregnant and this is NOT a baby announcement haha.) To celebrate, I am raising funds to make gift baskets for newborn babies (and their parents) so they can have an awesome start to their lives.

When I was younger, my mum would take me to the hospital on my birthday every year and we would give a toy or blanket to a baby. Since then, I have grown to fully appreciate what I have and those who have loved and supported me throughout my life (Yes, that’s you!). I have come to learn that it can be difficult to afford necessities and that some are not as fortunate as I am in being surrounded by a support system. With these gift baskets, I’m not just sending objects/things, but also peace of mind so the parents can truly take joy in their newborn bundles of joy.

My aim is to raise $2,500.00, and I would love your help in reaching my goal by the end of March. The funds will go towards making 25 gift baskets full of pacifiers, bibs, toys, books, toiletries, and loads of other goodies. Graciously, Providence Holy Cross Foundation in Mission Hillswill be accepting these gift baskets and giving them to babies delivered in April of 2019.

Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated! If you are not able to make a donation, perhaps you can send back a card with words of encouragement for the families; these will make wonderful additions to the gift baskets.
