I went into labor early at 22 weeks and 2 days to a baby girl named BaileyJoe Barksdale. She was born alive and breathing, but sadly that hospitals policies state that babies born before 24 weeks can not be saved and she was denied any life saving measures. I had to watch my baby gasp for air till she died as they stood there and dod nothing. Babies born before 24 weeks can be saved if given treatment. No parent should have to go through this. Every baby deserves a chance at life if they show signs of life when born. Please help me make a change. Our babies lives matter.
