My mother Jackie has been a nurse for many years, taking care of those around her. She worked in a nursing home for many years and for the past several years has served and continues to serve and take care of fragile children at DSM Iowa Home Care who are also fighting for their lives. Jackie is a mother of three children and a grandmother to six wonderful grandbabies who all lover her dearly. On July 13th 2017 she got a call from her doctors letting her know she has been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer she was told it was a miracle that she even found the lump herself and got in right away to be seen about it. Her insurance has denied her request to cover partial or all of her needs for her surgery, she needs to have immediate imaging and surgery in less than four weeks. Not much time to come up with a little over $14,000.00 but we are doing our best coming together as a family to make this happen as we want our mother to get better and stop this before it progresses! Any purchase goes straight to paying for her surgery/MRI.
