When we received Beau's diagnosis, we only received a book. The book of everything that could go medically wrong with our children. We've since wanted to make others experience a "celebration." We've partnered with Ds Connections Nw and we've been providing these welcome baskets to the local hospitals around our region (Northern and Southern Idaho & Eastern Washington) which have been given to families who have a child born with a Down syndrome diagnosis. Our goal is to provide a basket full of gifts and resources to new parents, and to say "congratulations" on the birth of their child! Since starting our project in 2012, families across the world have taken this idea and started something similar in their area. We've handed out over 100 baskets to date.Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want a t-shirt!
