#BeBraveEnough is a campaign that directly benefits the hospital bills and family expenses related to my sister Tifanee Elbert who is currently battling Multiple Organ Failure at RUSH Medical Center in Chicago. Tifanee is a mother, daughter, and sister that battles one of the worst epidemics in our country - ADDICTION - in her case specifically alcohol compounded by the #1 Mental Health Issue - Depression.
Our family is choosing to make create #BeBraveEnough campaign out of Tifanee's story and her miracle of overcoming Multiple Organ Failure (Liver and Kidney) after spending 8 days on life support to inspire others - family, friends, and loved ones dealing with someone close to them struggling with addiction or even better to inspire someone else to #bebraveenough to accept help. Wear this shirt. Tell her story. Inspire someone to seek help or hug someone that may be dealing with the same exact fight but may be too afraid to speak the truth.
#BeBraveEnough is more than overcoming addiction. It's a tagline to inspire everyone to set goals to become healthier and make self care a priority.
