My black cat, Scout, is a pretty prominent member of our community in Salem, MA. She appears in the city welcome guide and is known throughout town. We go on walks and participate in events. She's an adventure cat. You can find her on instagram @scoutofsalem She is also a registered therapy cat. Covid-19 has made it impossible for us to visit the places we would normally go to and provide animal assisted support. Covid-19 has also made it difficult for me to attend rallies and protests as someone who is immunocompromised. 

I wanted to make it very clear to our community of Salem and our online following that both Scout and I support Black Lives Matter. This is just one way that we are able to support and help raise up black folx in our communities.
