Full story

I was twenty-three when a MRI discovered a tumor, about the size of a walnut, on my cerebellum. I had brain surgery in 2014 and it was removed, but my life will never be the same. I will never be the same. I have struggled through PT, OT, ST, Vestibular, Vision Therapy and briefly lived in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Since my surgery, I have been living with the physical difficulties of double vision and ataxia while fighting to raise awareness & support for those with brain injuries. This year I walked 1,200 miles on the Appalachian Trail sharing my story and I'm hoping with your help to continue to raise support.
