Here is our story-February 23rd, 2020 will be Team #Brostrong's 6th year riding at Cycle for Survival. We have raised over $68,000 to date, 100% of which has gone directly towards rare cancer research and funding new clinical trials.After my brother, David Dana Ostrom, was diagnosed with Adrenocortical Carcinoma in 2013, we quickly learned how few treatment options were available for rare cancers. Despite the limited options, David bravely fought until the very end, but passed away September 27, 2013. Every year Team #Brostrong rides in memory of David. In typical David spirit, we always bring our best dance moves and most obnoxious shirts/accessories!In 2017, we were alerted that a new clinical trial was formed for Adrenocortical Carcinoma thanks to the funding from Cycle for Survival events worldwide. The progress that has been made at Memorial Sloan Kettering with the funding from Cycle for Survival has been astonishing, but there is still such a long way to go to find the cure.Please join us in giving new hope to patients and families like ours who are too often faced with unknown paths and no treatment options.
