Full story

NRGLC believes every child and adult alike has an innate ability to drive positive change in the world. We hope you'll join us as we embark on a mission to raise $50,000 by January 31, 2019 through the Building Bridges Campaign.

At NRGLC, we view the classroom as the bridge connecting the individual to the community at large. Our Montessori-based preschool through middle school programs as well as our summer camp provide long-term experiential education opportunities to encourage students to rise to their individual level of excellence, while becoming active participants in the future of our community here in southern West Virginia.

We're succeeding in this mission. But our growht requires expandng our facilities and programs.

When you purchase an NRG shirt or tote, you help fund:

- Improvement and expansion of facilities and classrooms

- New education programs catered towards all ages in our community at large

- Greater opportunities for collaboration between community and classrooms

If you're familiar with southern WV, you are no stranger to the challenges our community faces. From a public education system that struggles to accomodate our students and care for our educators, to the wave of substance abuse challenging us at every turn. At NRGLC, we believe it is all living and connected. Community service, social justice, and mindfulness are just a few of the principles reflected in our Six Pillars and Portrait of a Graduate. Through these principles, we aim to let our students learn through experience how they are already playing a role in our community, and how they have the power to shape their future starting today.
