This campaign is to raise funds to conduct an annual Christmas party for children in need in central Luzon in the Philippines on December 9th.

Through our 23 years of experience in supporting children and people in need in the Philippines, we started a project called “Chikara project,” or “Power project,” that provides job training and social skill training to our beneficiaries. These include haircut training, massage training, and nail training in our job trainings, and karate and dance trainings in social skill trainings. Every year there are over 100 people who attend our Christmas party to perform the vocational skills they have learned from our trainings, so that their effort will be recognized and they will have better self-esteem and confidence. The party, however, will be a bit different in a very exciting way! We have a professional American dancer as a guest dance instructor for our party!!! So he will go to each facility to teach one choreography for the party, and all the children and he will perform at the party! We have conducted a dance tour which Japanese students visit each facility, teach one choreography, and perform flashmob with children at the mall. Our children love to learn new moves and are so proud of their accomplishments, please help us continue to learn and train!! Here are the link of our Chikara project articles and videos.
