My friend Rick was diagnosed with ALS in 2016. Rick, and the other ALS patients and familes that I've met, have shown so much courage in the face of adversity that I designed this shirt to honor them. Rick passed away in 2018, but we are still committed to finding a treatment or a cure for ALS. I will be running the Falmouth Road Race on August 18, 2019, on behalf of ALS One hoping to raise critical funds to fight this disease.
