We at World War Society(WWS) are working to develop WWI and WWII living history events and re-enactment training courses to honor the soldiers who served on the frontlines.    We plan to use any funds raised to work with historians and re-enactors to develop authentic experiences for young and old.  Our 13 year old son is a huge history buff.   He dresses in WWI and WWII uniforms and gear and talks to re-enactors  He gets the opportunity to immerse himself in history.   We want to create more opportunities for children and adults to experience basic training and get a glimpse of life on the frontlines.    We decided to honor the 75th anniversary of D-Day on 6 June 2019.   While there were 13 nations who supported the D-Day invasion but the Americans, Canadians and British played key roles.
