Ever since we won 4th place in the Shocker New Venture Competition in 2019, it has been our dream to make our business a reality. We have been working on DUO Health since August, and we are very close to opening our online healthcare business! We've had so many friends (including ourselves!) ask us for a t-shirt, that we want to make it available for you to purchase. We actually get a small profit from this t-shirt sale, which we plan to use toward our start-up costs until we are making ends meet.
Our business name, DUO Health, stands for Discreet, Understanding, Options. We want anyone in need to be able to access prescription birth control (for the obvious reasons, along with other medical reasons like acne), and STD testing without having to feel embarassed. We plan to add other services, and expand to other states as soon as possible. At first we will just be operating in Kansas. When we open, we will not be filing insurance, but we will be adding the option to file insurance at a later date.
