In 2020 alone, California and Australia experienced devastating wildfires, 12 million people were displaced by floods in South East Asia, and Siberia experienced record-breaking temperatures of above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the Arctic Circle.
I am launching this campaign to raise money for the Coalition of Rainforest Nations to support their mission in rainforest conservation, which is key to solving the climate emergency. The trees in the rainforests account for most of the reduction in CO2 emissions and deforestation in rainforests around the world is causing a rapid rise in CO2.
