All the money raised will be going to donate Noise Cancelling Headphones and Sensory Compression Wraps for neurodiverse individuals.
"Neurodiverse" simply means "not neurotypical". This is a term that can emcompass people on the autism spectrum, people with ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, sensory processing disorder, etc.
Noise cancelling headphones held to reduce the ammount of auditory stimulation in one's environment. This renders public spaces MUCH more accessible to folk who have auditory or sensory sensitivities (like autistic folk), etc.
Compression wraps offer deep pressure therapy. This helps to reduce anxiety, also helps with overstimulation, and even helps with sleep! Compression wraps are a lighter, more portable (and affordable) alternative to weighted blankets, and can easily be carries in a backpack! So you can take them to work, to school, on trips, etc. This also renders some public spaces just a little more tolerable to be in, and definitely helps with recovering from a high-stimulation day once back at home.
