We are the women of Soroptimist International of Des Moines. A part of Soroptimist International of the Americas, our vision is for women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams.

We are a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. We value gender equality, empowerment, education, and diversity and fellowship.

We help women and girls live their dreams by volunteering at local organizations in Central Iowa, teaching career and goal-setting curriculum to young women, and provide scholarships to young moms who are pursuing their secondary education.

We need your help. Sales from our Empowered Women EMPOWER WOMEN fundraiser will allow us to provide additional, meaningful scholarships to more women in our community. By purchasing an item (or two), you are investing in dreams, and helping women achieve them.
