My name is Alexander O'Brien. I am Female to Male. I was born in a body labeled as female and have been taking measures, largely out of my own pocket, to medically alter my body to resemble my true gender.
I am finally ready to take the last step in my transition. I found the exact surgeon that I want to go to and it will cost me about $25k to $30k.
Here is a break down of the costs:
-Abdominal Flap Phalloplasty $8,500
This creates the actual dick shape but without the head pf the dick yet.
-Clit transport and incorporation $1,500
This one should be self explanatory. It shifts my clit upward about 2 inches maybe a little less and buries it in the base of my neo-phallus.
-Testicular implants $1,500
This is implants of medical grade silicone testies into my labia but does not include a scrotal fusing. I also am NOT getting a scrotal fusing.
-Penile implant $3,200
Malleable rod.
-Glansplasty $1000
The creation of the penis head
-Hysterectomy $3000
Removal of the internal reproductive organs.

IF you can donate please do! I can't afford this on my own by any stretch of the imagination and most insurances wont cover it. Sometimes even if the say they do they try to get out of covering it and not everyone wins that fight. I make shit part time wages at less than $12k a year after taxes. This procudure alone without hospitalization fees and anethesia is $18,700. my bills are more that $1k a month.
