Full story

Last year we started a campain to raise money to help my son Aaron start an ice cream business.  During this time I was diagnosed with seizures and had to put the campaign on hold.  We are up and running again.  This is our original story behind Aaron and his dream.

My son Aaron is twenty-six years of age and has autism. It has been his dream to open a small business of his own.  As in Aaron’s words, he wants to do the “adult-thing” by working. Aaron has become interested in running an ice cream business. He has become fully involved in picking the name of his business, designing its label, and so on, demonstrating such a strong enthusiasm that puts such an unbelievably large smile on my face. Using the logo Aaron excitedly designed, we are trying to sell shirts in order to raise money to help him start an ice cream business, so we can finally execute Aaron’s dreams. Aaron would then go around downtown Newnan a few times a month, selling ice cream to the wonderful people that live there. This would give my son the amazing opportunity to interact with all kinds of people, as he loves to meet new friends and tell stories and jokes to everyone. Our hope is to have a permanent business downtown for years to come. Through this dream and his life, Aaron he wants to encourage people with special needs to follow their dreams because they are achievable.

10% of all total funds raised will also go to Autism Speaks.
