Our family is doing our annual walk in Gainesville, FL to raise money for the March of Dimes. Our twin boys, Lake & Walker, were born at 32 weeks gestation in June 2012. They spent 25 days in the NICU at UF Shands. Our boys were born small, but healthy for the most part. Not every preemie baby is the same. Since their birth, it has been my mission to spread awareness and raise funds for this wonderful organization. The March of Dimes helps not only families facing preterm birth, but they help full term babies as well. In other words, they give EVERY baby a fighting chance.
Our boys have always loved music, but when they were just 3 years old, they started their own band called "Honey Pot." Since then, we have been enjoying live performances by these now active and smart little 6 year olds. Proceeds from every Honey Pot shirt sold will be donated to our March of Dimes fundraiser.
