The Grand Valley Cat Coalition is made up of six local animal rescue organizations and several dedicated community members. Our goal is to spay and neuter every cat in a target area (currently the 81501 zip code). We Trap Neuter Return community cats and offer vouchers for pet cats. We are hoping to raise funds to TNR more community cats before it gets too cold to trap and release them safely. 80% of kittens in the US are born outdoors. Spaying and neutering community cats will mean fewer kittens will be born in the spring so there will be less burden on local animal shelters and rescues. All proceeds will go to fund spay/neuter surgeries. You won’t get your shirt until the campaign closes, but doing it this way allows us to raise more funds.
