There are many immigrant families that have just been reunited after suffering through a traumatic separation at the US/ Mexico border. Their suffering doesn’t stop after reunification. There is still plenty of healing that needs to take place. I believe the beach is the best place for them to have a stress free, healing environment where they can be together as a family and have some fun. With this campaign I hope to raise enough money to bring at least one of those families, such as the Pablo family or the Cruz family, to the beach for a week by September of 2019. The family will attend counciling sessions at Gulf Beach Baptist Church twice during this week’s stay. The family will be staying with a company called PCB Stays, LLC. They will be staying in a beachfront condo in case they are not emotionally ready to go out to the beach yet. They will have the opportunity to stay on the balcony and just listen to the waves.Through your kindness today we can change the way these children and parents feel towards the United States.
