Home for lone IDF soldiers in Israel

Zoharim Village provides a safe home and stable working environment for at-risk, ultra-Orthodox boys. In most cases, traditional educational systems have failed students who come from troubled homes, because they have not been able to provide the specialized support and encouragement these at-risk students need to succeed in life. 

It has already received tremendous support from Knesset members and government officials who have visited the village.

The boys in Zoharim go on and enlist in the IDF, most of them in elite units. many of them don't have a home to go back to on weekends and army leaves, so they come back to the village, which is currently to equipped to accommodate them. we are currently building a house for them in the village. Help us!

The Zoharim Youth Village supplies youth with a holistic educational framework, comprised of both high level education and specialized vocational training. It serves as a home, a school and a work place for youth who have been unable to succeed elsewhere. 

The objective of this campus program is to empower students and inspire them with the self-confidence that they need to believe in themselves and their happy futures. 

The ultimate goal of Zoharim is to graduate students who will be able to seamlessly integrate into army service and successful lives in the profession of their choosing.

The Zoharim graduates are drafted to the IDF’s elite units, where they serve a full and meaningful service for the sake of the state of Israel and its people.
