Pride Awareness simply pukes rainbows in June. It's summer and it time to show your colors. "It's funny. My birthday is in June. No wonder I'm gay" Kim Jokes. Kim created the design from the very basic idea of how not all girls have to be princesses. They can be Knights. OR you can just be a very pretty knight regardless of gender. Kim picked colors to make it as neutral and as playful as she could so that everyone can wear it. "As much as I wanted to make multiple versions, I only have time for one. I hope people like it."The design is launched to raise awareness and funds for the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center. People should know for those who need a little help or some education to know that the community is here for them. "The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center delivers educational, health promotion, and community-building services that meet the needs of LGBT youth, adults, and their allies in the Greater Milwaukee area from its primary facility and other sites. The Center programs are developed with a consideration of community need, diversity, and inclusivity, community development, availability of resources, and the Center’s mission and vision."
