Hi!! My name is Rhiannon Kidwell, and I am 11 years old. I’ve been taking gymnastics since I was 9 but have been flipping around everywhere basically since I could walk! I’ve been competing in KC League for the last couple years and it’s a lot of fun. This year, I’ve been invited to practice with the USAG team, and I am SUPER excited! I know it will take a lot of work but I can’t wait to spend more time in the gym and travel to meets. Here’s some more info from my mom. ---
As a parent, I’m so grateful Rhiannon has found what “ignites” her- she LOVES gymnastics. I very much want to support her in pursuing this, but the cost for USAG is greater than it has been for KC League. Her coaches and I feel moving her to USAG would benefit her skills as she could get more specialized coaching and more exposure at different gymnastics meets around the region and country (she has finished 1st or 2nd all-around in almost every local KC League meet for the last 2 years). So, we are planning different fundraising activities throughout the next several months starting with this t-shirt sale! Funds raised will go toward competition apparel, coach fees, and meet fees.
