Much progress has been made at the KidVenture playground;however, there is still a lot to do to make a better, more accessible place for our children.

Recently, dangerous and dilapidated equipment was removed and new equipment was added making KidVenture a much nicer place to play.

The continued makeover calls for the playground to resemble the shape of a flower. Each "petal" would include playground equipment ranging from swings and a tree fort to a sensory wall and a zip line catering to children of different ages and abilities. An elevated and shaded observation area would be at the center, offering parents and caregivers an unobstructed view of the entire playground.
To complete KidVenture now, Friends of the Park needs to raise $330,000.00.
