Our sweet therapy dog, Koda is in need of emergency back surgery, please help us raise funds so he can continue to spread joy & love in our community.

Koda is in need of our support he is our 5-year-old dachshund therapy dog. He and his mama give so much to our community and never ask for anything in return. Koda loves to bring joy to all of our students at Vanderhoof Elementary school and the kiddos at Children's hospital. He is an essential member of our Hoof family. This last year we all needed the love and affection that this little pup brought to our school each week and we always look forward to the days that Koda is working. He brings smiles, laughter, and a sense of tranquility to our school. He recently was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease or IVDD. This disease makes it so Koda can't walk and is in a lot of pain. Unfortunately, dachshunds are prone to back issues and many times need medical treatment. He requires surgery to help fix his back. The surgery is very expensive but has a 95% recovery rate and would allow him to continue to do the work he loves. Let's show Koda we got his back like he always has ours.
