LCO school is a BIE school located on the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe reservation. Odaawaa Zaaga'iganing is the indigenous name for this location. We are working to promote using Ojibwe more and more every day. This is how we do attendance in many of our classrooms each day. We also see this as a bigger message, letting everyone know that we are still here and the Ojibwe language is still here and very much alive! This simple design was created by the LCO Ojibwe high school language students.
