LIGHT is a non-profit group created to support the efforts of Rocky Braat, featured in the documentary Blood Brother. All donations they receive go directly to orphanages in India and services related to providing better lives to the children who live there. The 2013 documentary Blood Brother chronicled the story of Rocky Braat, who volunteered at a center for children with HIV in a small Indian village. After returning home from his time in the orphanage, Rocky soon realized his purpose in life was to care for these children. Since then, Rocky and the kids he works with have made some great strides. Incredible lifelong relationships have formed and Rocky’s story has touched the lives of many around the world.
Because this is such a grassroots effort, donations are critical. Proceeds from the sale of these shirts will go to essentials like clean water and medical supplies, as well as simple treasures like treats and birthday gifts that allow the kids a feeling of love and normalcy. LIGHT also aims to construct halfway houses that will help residents who are older and transitioning out of the orphanage. Buying a shirt today will send ⅓ of the price straight to LIGHT, so they can keep this great mission alive.
