The Syrian Civil War has been referred to by the UN as, "The largest humanitarian crisis in the world today". More than 250,000 Syrians are dead. 840,000 wounded. 4 million refugees. 7.6 million internally displaced. 1.5 million have fled the country.

The stylized peace dove is actually arabic calligraphy the says “Haub Salaam”, which means Love and Peace. The shape in the background is the silhouette of Syria. The star and color scheme reflects the Syrian Revolutionary flag.
