Lynch Syndrome needs to be known by ALL!

Lynch Syndrome is a Hereditary Cancer Syndrome that is grossly underdiagnosed and  unknown by many medical professionals and the general public, which leaves an estimated 60,000 Americans vulnerable to develop a myriad of cancers and often at a younger age onset. An estimated 1.2 million Americans have LS and less than 5% have been diagnosed! This leaves thousands vulnerable to developing cancers. Awareness is the key. 1 in 279 Americans are estimated to have Lynch Syndrome. It is NOT RARE. We are selling these shirts to help raise awareness about Lynch SYndrome and help support Lynch Syndrome International in this endeaver.

The primary mission of Lynch Syndrome International (LSI) is to serve our global communities by focusing on providing support for individuals afflicted with Lynch syndrome, creating public awareness of the syndrome, educating members of the general public and health care professionals and providing support for Lynch syndrome research endeavors.

LSI, an organization, is founded and governed by Lynch syndrome survivors, their families, and health care professionals who specialize in Lynch syndrome.

If diagnosed early, we believe Lynch syndrome survivors have favorable outcomes which enhance survival, the longevity and quality of life as well as the emotional well-being of the afflicted.

With the provisions of knowledge, caring and respect for those living with Lynch syndrome, coupled with a common theme of a prevalent positive attitude, we can be change agents, enhancing hope and survivability, impacting the life of countless people throughout our world. That is why we do what we do.

KNOWLEDGE + SURVEILLANCE = LIFE
