I have decided to take on the TrailBlaze Challenge for the second year in a row! What is the TrailBlaze Challenge? It is a 28 mile hike, completed in ONE day, on a beautiful trail in Southern California. This year's hike will happen on May 18th, 2019.
The TrailBlaze Challenge is also a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children facing life threatening illnesses. I was involved with Make-A-Wish as an undergraduate in association with my sorority, Chi Omega. When I moved to California, I was looking for a way to get involved with this organization once again. The answer was the TrailBlaze Challenge! I successfully completed the 28 mile hike last year, and the entire experience was so rewarding.
I truly believe that wishes change lives.
What better way to raise money for a hiking fundraiser than by selling a shirt that speaks to all the hiking enthusiasts in us?!
