Hello!  My name is Mason LaMaster.  I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Longview High School.  My family and I have been members at Mobberly Babtist Church in Longview for 4 years.  

Last year I was able to go on my first international mission trip to Ecuador.  While there I was given the chance to share my testimony with a group of children. When I was done, the entire group of about 10 kids ended up accepting Christ! By far this was the highlight of my entire mission trip. I learned so much about their country and way of living. The entire trip was one of the most fun and amazing learning experiences for me.

In the summer of 2020, I’m going to be given another opportunity to reach out to more people in the world. My youth group is going to Malawi, Africa. We will be specifically working in Lilongwe, Malawi. We will serve with the Mitundu Baptist Church with Pastor Mclean to share the gospel with the Malawian people. Through interpreters, we will share the gospel using hut-to-hut evangelism, show the Jesus film and serve in local churches. It will be a great learning experience for me and others to grow in Christ and I’m personally really excited to go on this trip!
