The newly-merged United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County impacts individuals and families by investing in 220-plus programs at over 110 agency program partners.
United Way brings together partners from business, education, government, faith-based, and nonprofit organizations to work toward common goals, resulting in a better quality of life for all.
Through donations to the Community Fund, we drive lasting change by strategically focusing on the areas of health, education, and financial stability. In addition to our focus areas, we invest in many community-wide initiatives.

We are an independently-governed 501(c)3 nonprofit organization connected to a network of more than 1,400 local United Ways through United Way Worldwide. We have our own board of directors and focus our work on local solutions for local problems. Of every dollar raised, 90¢ is invested into community problem solving.
