Miracle is 6 years old. A full of life, fun, vibrant, smart, loving, bright child of God.
In March of 2024, Miracle was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. Once she started tumbling, she started getting migraines and becoming dizzy more frequently. After going back and forth with the doctor we found that she has IBS and Chiari Malformation. We have been through a lot of testing, multiple MRI's, multiple other test checking her eyes, nerves and other test as well as her spine to see if we can avoid touching the brain. We have found everything checks out to be good which means everything that is wrong points back to the Chiari causing the issue. Each time we've gotten another MRI the Chiari has grown. The Neurosurgeon has now decided we need to have a Brain Decompression surgery in November. We will be going to Hematology November 7th to be cleared due to her having the Sickle Cell trait. Once she is cleared there, she will be scheduled for her surgery. We are still about $1300 away from hitting her deductible and have about $700 in past due medical bills. I will be out of work for 3 weeks while she recovers without pay. Please help us by purchasing a shirt and wearing in support of our little Miracle.
