This month, Ink to the People is helping spread awareness for National Backpack Day! We want to help raise funds for Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS). For over 37 years CAPS has been dedicated to preventing bullying and child abuse. They continue to do their best is helping children through programs, classroom and communities They want to keep people involved to make a change for kids in need, to keep them safe, valued and respected.
CAPS found that students who are exposed to bullying prevention early in their school years, take in what they are taught and use the tools to help prevent to make everyone feel safer.
“By opening your classroom and offering CAPS developmentally-appropriate programs to your students, you are helping empower them to stay safe from bullying, child abuse and neglect, navigate their social relationships and manage their digital and online activities.
CAPS also offers school professionals teaching tools, conferences and staff and faculty development programs on child abuse, bully prevention, Internet safety and sexual harassment, plus NYS Certification Training. We’re here to help you create safer learning environments for your students.”
