Following the Bombings at the Boston Marathon my sister Lindsey (13 yo) and I (Casey-15yo) started our own non profit charity named the 'We Stand Strong Fund.' Our mission is to provide much needed funding to victims of tragedies and natural disasters. We are the original creators of the Boston Strong blue and yellow silicone wristbands that are being worn by people from all walks of life, from the President himself to cast members of The Walking Dead. To date we have raised almost $11,000 for the One Fund, donated over 465 books to kids in need in Washington, DC, and donated over 400 pairs of eyeglasses to patients in need. Profits made from our 'We Stand Strong Nepal' t-shirts will be donated to SaveTheChildren.org.
