I will be traveling to Tanzania, Africa in June of 2019 to photograph and video for Twelve21Global organization. I went to a remote island on Lake Victoria called Maisome Island, in 2017. I was able to capture the team's work on the island as well as the lives of those living in the villages around us. I was able to capture the Tanzanians struggles and triumphs throughout of their lives and get a small taste of what they go through everyday. There is no running water or electricity. Many men and women either fish or have to travel far into the cities in order to find work. Twelve21Global helps to meet their various needs alongside the love of God.
It was an amazing opportunity to use my talents in order to tell those back in America what Twelve21Global was doing throughout Tanzania. We are all humans and share this world. We all deserve love and opportunity to the basic necessities of life. I am unable to fully fund this trip on my own and if you are willing and able to help me get to Tanzania, I would greatly appreciate you.
