The 2nd Annual Pancreatic Cancer 5K Walk is about paying homage to all the people who lost the fight against pancreatic cancer. In addition, it is a time for families to come together and celebrate the life of their loved ones. All proceeds will be used to assist pancreatic cancer patients currently in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
In 2020, I lost my mama, Ms. Lola Griffin,her diagnosis, I had no idea what pancreatic cancer was. When she died, I promised myself that I would keep her legacy alive by starting a foundation to assist pancreatic cancer patients and their families. In 2021, The Lola Strong Cares Foundation was created in memory of my mom.
