On March 19, 2018, Sudan, the last male northern white rhino on the earth, passed away. He was under 24 hour armed guard and being taken care of at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. We realized far too late the drastic measures that needed to be taken in order to save his species. However, we should not let his legacy be forgotten. We must make sure he is the last species that we lose and ensure better protection of our wildlife and endangered species. No more animals have to go extinct.
