On September 20th, Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico. It made direct impact as almost a category 5 hurricane, leaving a catastrophe behind. I'm deeply moved by the world's response in the matter, but the situation is still grim for so many of my brothers and sisters over there. Basic needs like clean water and food are still lacking for many people, especially those living inland.
In this artwork, the heart of Puerto Rico its being hit ruthlessly by the storm. But with your help it will keep beating. It will rise in hope and action. It will rise stronger.

El pasado 20 de septiembre el huracán Maria devasto la isla de Puerto Rico. Con un impacto directo casi como categoría 5, el resultado fue devastador. Me conmueve profundamente la respuesta de ayuda alrededor del mundo. Pero la situación todavía es muy precaria para muchos de mis hermanos y hermanas. Necesidades básicas como agua potable y comida escasean o simplemente todavía no han llegado a muchos.
En esta pieza artística el corazón de Puerto Rico esta siendo abatido despiadadamente por la tormenta. Pero con tu ayuda continuara latiendo. Se levantara con esperanza y diligencia. Puerto Rico se levantara mas fuerte.
