After we lost our youngest son at the age of 24 to an overdose we felt complelled to help people in recovery. Knowing they are requested to not own pets in the recovey process. As animal lovers we knew the comfort and peace you get from the love of a animal. We already owned the land and decided to rescue farm and domestic animals to be love and cared for throughour their natural lives. We then opened up by appointments people in recovery, anxieties, PTSD, as well as special needs to come visit. Play with our goats, groom the horses, read to the sheep, sing to the alpacas. Watch the ducks swim and play in their water or the antics of our chickens and Turkeys. If we could offer that support and help out just 1 person or family thats all we wished for.
