Empowerment is 2 women friends taking their lives back! We refuse to let an abusive person enslave us and keep us in her oppression anymore.  A friend and I are in our 50's, disabled, homebound but can still be productive self-employed at home. We do not want disability compensation when we can still work but have to work at home. We believe in giving back to the community and believe our lives can still be productive and enriched even with disabilities. But we have been threatened on a daily basis. We began our businesses online, and we are stalked, screenshot, put back on the internet with constant daily harassment and ridicule to the point we do not even feel safe in our homes anymore. This has been going on over a year now and enough is enough. We can not let someone and her friends have control over our lives and keep us under constant control and mentally violated anymore. The lies with postings about us are made up and fictitious blogging which is being distributed across multiple social media platforms are aggressive and vicious to cause emotionally damaging harm. A woman is posting obsessively daily, several times a day.  She has even tried using legal authorities to harass us. This is not normal behavior. We need to fight back with these types of behavioral crimes and if we don't fight this legally, the problem spreads to hurt other people and kids. As grandparents and parents, we need to set good positive examples and be icons for our younger ones. People have to learn that it is not ok and it is not normal to use electronic communications to stop business and hurt people in such a way to cause harm and damage to their health and lives. After several inquiries, we find the only advice is to fight this in a criminal court of law and request subpoenas of IP accounts. This fundraiser will help to get us empowered and start fighting online harassment.
